Trinidad and Tobago's Finance Minister Karen Nunez-Tesheira, under pressure from the public to resign over the non-disclosure of her connections to CL Financial, will make another effort to clear the air in an appearance in Parliament today to explain her interest in group companies.

Jackie Chan has earned the ire of some people in Taiwan and Hong Kong over his seemingly harmless comments regarding the possibility of democracy for China during a recently held business forum in Hainan. Jackie Chan said a free society may not benefit the authoritarian mainland of China further adding that the Chinese needs to be controlled otherwise they will just do what they want.
